Aujourd’hui ČD (České Dráhy - Réseau Ferré Tchèque) y informatise et centralise la gestion de ses aiguillages de la région. De cette modernisation, résulte une suppression drastique des emplois. La République Tchèque possède le réseau ferroviaire le plus dense d’Europe. Cette densité entraine un coût d’entretien très élevé. Sans aides de l’état, ČD n’est pas rentable. En 2010 ces aides sont amputées de 20 millions d’euros. ČD supprime 1600 postes. En 2011, c’est un millier d’employés qui quittera son poste.Přerov in Moravia is one of the most important railway junctions in the Czech Republic. Today, ČD (České Dráhy – Czech Railway) computerizes and centralizes there the region’s management of their shuntings. From this modernization, results a drastic jobs loss. The Czech Republic has the densest railway network in Europe. This density leads to a very high maintenance cost. If not funded by the state, ČD is not profitable.
